Lab Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Santo is an extremely good looking Lab/Rottie mix. He's seven years old and has lived with a family for the last five years. The family is no longer able to keep Santo due to changes in the family dynamics. He's a smart boy, well behaved, and knows basic commands such as 'Sit' and 'Shake'. He gets along well with children, does not do well with cats and is OK with other dogs given the proper introduction. Santo is a high energy dog. He loves to run, hike, and swim and would fit in nicely with an active family. He is up to date on vaccinations and will soon be getting a dental.

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-17-00541Henry (male)

Chihuahua    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Henry is the sweetest little guy!! He doesn't quite tip the scale to 5 pounds, weighing in at just a mere 4 pounds 5 oz. He is a little on the shy side and does not like men much. He was most likely stepped on before coming to Good Sam. He has a broken pelvis in 2 places and his back legs are broken as is one of his knees. The injuries are old and they have healed. There is nothing we can do at this point to fix the little guy. He gets around like a champ and appears to be in very little, if any pain. He goes on daily walks with his foster mom. All Henry wants is a nice warm lap to curl up into and have someone take good care of ... (Read More)him. He is probably 7 to 8 years old and we had to have quite a few teeth removed when he had his dental. He is neutered and all shots are current. He has good bathroom habits and will go outside to potty without any problems. Henry was found wandering as a stray, with his Chihuahua buddy, Ford and would be quite happy to be adopted with Ford, but it is certainly not necessary. He gets along with dogs, cats, kids, and most everything else. Just a sweet boy looking to land in a nice, warm lap. Please call foster mom Mary Kay if you are interested in meeting this sweet little guy. (Less)

Chihuahua    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

Ford is a really cool little guy. He weighs about 10# and thinks he is as big as a German Shepard! He loves to play with his foster sisters who outweigh him 4 times over and wrestles like a champ. He loves to go for adventures outside and has been known to take part in bunny chasing escapades. Ford is 2 to 3 years old and has luxating patellas in both his hind legs. He recently had surgery and is doing very well. Ford was found wandering as a stray with Henry. These two could be adopted as a pair or individually. Ford does well with other dogs and cats. He likes to chase the cat if they run, but just wants to play. One of his ... (Read More)favorite playmates at this foster home is a 6 month old kitten. Ford is not fond of men and would do better with a female caretaker. He does let foster dad handle him now so he is making improvements. He is a very sweet boy and is pretty darn quiet for a chihuahua. He will bark when someone comes to the door, but otherwise is quiet. He has really good bathroom habits and will take care of business outside, even in the cold winter weather. If you would like to learn more about Ford, please call Good Sam at 303-222-0081! (Less)
